There are a few reasons you may want or need to remove an Operator from your active Op and
there are currently two ways to do so, but how do you know which one to use?
Cancel Op: This function should be used if the Operator is no longer needed for a specific day (if single day) or the remainder days of the Op (multi-day), but there is no reason to dispute their
work (i.e. the expected truck is no longer arriving tomorrow or the expected workload volume decreased, so you no longer need Operators' to come in tomorrow). This function does not penalize the Operator's profile.
Note: Canceling an Operator’s Op within 12 hours of the Op start time will incur a Late Cancellation fee equivalent to 4 hours of their agreed upon rate.
Dispute: Use this feature if the Operator did not meet the standards that were described on the Op (i.e. Late arrival, no-show, does not have the required skills, etc.). This option will affect the Operator's reliability score and it will result in a suspension (if warranted) and/or coaching from your local Operations Coordinator.
