Post Ops for General Work
The best way to support your business with on-demand labor from the start is to post for general work. We define general work as non-specialized work that does not require lengthy training.
Posting for general work opportunities means you are likely to get more bids since Operators of any skill level should be able to meet the Op requirements. This will help you get more people in the door so you can start building up Your Labor Pool.
We highly recommend identifying bottleneck areas within your facility so you can create Op postings for those Work Areas.
Helpful Tip: Some tasks can take time away from your star performers or specialized workers. You can utilize on-demand labor to free up these tasks from your FTEs so they can get the job done quicker!

Once You're Ready...
Once you master bringing in Operators for general work, it is time to consider identifying other areas where Veryable could be useful. By now you may have identified some star Operators who have more specialized skillsets. You can begin to post Ops for those specific skillsets and expand to other Work Areas within your facility.
Helpful Tips: Make sure you establish a procedure for onboarding Operators to ensure they know the expectations. After you’re comfortable bringing skilled workers into the one area, you can expand quickly into other areas so your operations can easily scale with your demand. Some businesses have experienced Operators within their facility train and onboard other Operators to save time and free up their FTEs. Use YLP Tags to stay organized!
Consider Shift Lengths
Starting out with shorter Ops (5 to 8 hours long) may yield more bids and higher attendance rates starting out. It will give your business the chance to adjust to using on-demand labor, while also allowing you to bring in more Operators which helps you build out Your Labor Pool!
